TCC1 Repairs: We are no longer repairing TCC1's.

T122 Beta

The 122 was somewhat designed to be a "drop in" TCC1 replacment while keeping the case of the original TCC1 unmodified.

The 122 is for the most part a clone of the original system with some much needed changes to circuitry. In essence it is a TCC2 [hardware wise] and runs the T-II code and Firmware with some mods. We removed the stepper motor connectors and circuitry off the main pcb. We plan on a module plug-in for those controls so they will still be available if needed. We added onboard USB and removed the phone style to DB9 serial cable hassle. Coms have changed now and use the FTDI hardware. The flash jumper process was changed to be just flash and run normal {jumper on-jumper off}. We changed the led to be red on boot and if everythings good it goes green otherwise it stays red as a issue indicator.

We added in a couple small Software/GUI features and changed them a little to make it more user friendly I modified the colors a bit just to test out how it would look in a low lit room and its ok but might change them around some still.

I have personally run the beta board above on our test system for +300 hours running all the hardware like fans, focuser, pir, heaters, thermistors.
